I recently had the pleasure of staying at Torel 1884 Suites and Apartments, and it was an experience I'll cherish. The studio apartment I booked was a delight, offering ample space, cleanliness, and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The location of Torel 1884 is simply superb, nestled in the heart of Porto with easy access to a lot of interesting places and a vibrant dining scene. I do not think you can get a better location than this. I was pleasantly surprised and deeply grateful to be offered a complimentary upgrade to a room in the main property, which added an extra layer of luxury to my stay. What truly set this property apart was the staff. Their professionalism and warmth made my experience memorable. A special shout out to Daniel, Tiago, and Miguel at the restaurant. Their dedication to ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for was evident in every interaction, making my stay exceptionally comfortable. The studio apartment, with its well-designed space, provided a perfect balance of comfort and functionality. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing for the convenience of preparing meals, which was a nice touch for longer stays. Lastly, the aesthetic appeal of the hotel, both inside and out, added to the overall charm and elegance of my stay. We stayed 2 nights in an executive apartment on Flores and it was simply stunning, with a duo of Juliet balconies looking down the busy pedestrianised street filled with music, love and laughter. We stayed our final night in the main hotel which is beautifully breath taking! The staff were very attentive and made sure we had the best stay possible! We celebrated my partners 50th birthday whilst we were there and received a complimentary bottle of Torels own sparkling wine and fresh fruit on arrival. They helped us with our luggage and took time to talk to us about our stay. The location of the apartment was perfect and close to all amenities! We went into the restaurant for our welcome drink and it was very pleasant. A beautiful hotel in a beautiful city. We also took advantage of the pool facilities at TOREL Adventgarde which was about a 20 min walk away! Absolutely stunning pool and scenery, well worth it after a busy few days of sight seeing. The attention the detail in both Torels was second to none.

The rooms were a good size with everything you might need including coffee machine, mini bar and very comfortable bed. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They arranged a walking tour of Porto with a guide called Francisco.We went to places we had never seen and found it just that bit more interesting than usual tours. Breakfast was a la carte with lots of choice including cold meats and cheese, cereals, fresh fruit , cooked eggs and pastries.The breakfast staff were excellent and full of tips and advice on the menu. We also ate in the restaurant and had a great meal. The location is ideal, easy to walk to most places and close to the subway station and buses.

Front the door staff, desk staff, cleaning staff and restaurant staff - all were fabulous and a highlight. The room was huge - grand but comfortable, very high quality and unique fittings and furnishings and some lovely touches throughout. The restaurant also was amazing, and our host was delightful. Food exceptional with a delicious breakfast and we also sampled a lunchtime snack which was equally amazing. On our last day we were leaving too early to dine for breakfast so the staff offered to pack us something to takeaway - what a lovely little picnic we then had at the airport! That summed up what a brilliant team they have at the hotel and it absolutely made our trip!

The entire property exudes a quiet luxury that is evident everywhere you look. We just loved our beautiful room, with its beautiful big windows, huge bed and gorgeous furnishings. The library is a most delightful place to sit and read, or just contemplate life, with a cup of tea under the beautiful dome skylight. What a treat! But most of all, to every member of the wonderful Torel 1884 team, we have to say a huge thank you. You were all amazing, and our 3 night stay truly was exceptional.
